Truscott Rossman expands

LANSING –Truscott Rossman is expanding its team with the addition of Mark Meyer, former Lansing State Journal sports editor, as senior writer and account executive and Michigan State University graduate LaToya English as an associate account executive.

Meyer, of East Lansing, was sports editor of the State Journal from March 2007 through June 2011 and previously had been the newspaper’s assistant features editor. He also has been a reporter, editor and page designer at daily newspapers in suburban Chicago, downstate Illinois and Lexington, Ky.

Meyer joined the Truscott Rossman team in October 2011 in a freelance role and has contributed to projects with clients such as Michigan State University Student Services, East Detroit Public Schools and Soave Enterprises.

English, of Dimondale, has interned with Truscott Rossman since August 2011, working with clients including the Coalition Protecting Auto No-Fault, Michigan State University College of Education, and Cirque Du Soleil.

Prior to joining Truscott Rossman, English interned as a public relations assistant for Deb Cherry’s campaign for Genesee County treasurer. She has also done communications work for the Old Town Business & Arts Development Association, serving as promotions director of the First Annual MiFunk Concert and the 16th Annual Lansing JazzFest.
