LANSING, Mich. – Graham Davis, previously new media director to Governor Jennifer M. Granholm, is the newest account executive at Lansing’s premier public relations firm, The Rossman Group.
“Our clients will benefit from Graham’s extensive experience using the latest and greatest new media tools,” said Kelly Rossman-McKinney, founder and CEO of the firm. “Graham is a great fit for our team – and we’re excited to land him.”
As new media director for Granholm, Davis helped develop and grow one of the largest online presences for any governor in the nation. Not limited to social media, Davis produced a wide range of content for the governor’s use, ranging from online web videos to newspaper op-eds and graphic design work.
Davis also served as a new media consultant on Congressman John D. Dingell’s most recent campaign, and as new media deputy director on Lt. Governor John D. Cherry, Jr.’s gubernatorial campaign. He has presented strategies for using new media tools effectively to a number of groups including the University of Michigan-Dearborn Institute for Local Government, the UAW Local Union Press Association, and the Netroots Nation 2009 conference in Pittsburgh.
“I’m thrilled to join The Rossman Group, Lansing’s most effective public affairs firm,” said Davis. “I am honored to work with the best PR professionals in Michigan.”
The Rossman Group specializes in issues management, crisis communication, litigation communication, media relations, community relations, and ballot initiatives. Last year, for the third time in a row, The Rossman Group was named the “Most Effective Public Affairs Firm” by capital insiders in the MIRS/EPIC-MRA survey.
