Truscott Rossman Expands Detroit Office With Hire of New Account Executive

DETROIT – Truscott Rossman is expanding its Detroit team with the addition of recent Michigan State University graduate Matt Brady as account executive.

“With the significant growth we’re experiencing in Detroit, we need additional team members,” said Kelly Rossman-McKinney, CEO and principal of Truscott Rossman. “We’re proud to be a strong participant in the Detroit turnaround story. Matt has the energy and enthusiasm to help our clients succeed not only in Detroit but across the state.”

Brady, a Truscott Rossman intern since April 2014, has worked closely with clients such as Michigan Citizens for Strong and Safe Communities and Michigan Ticket Fairness.

Prior to joining Truscott Rossman, Brady interned in the office of State Sen. Phil Pavlov. During his tenure, Brady worked extensively on education policy research and constituent affairs.

“Matt has the kind of experience we look for in new members of the TR team,” said John Truscott, President and principal of Truscott Rossman. “His experience in the Lansing environment as well as Detroit has helped expand his level of expertise. Having another person in Detroit with a broad skill set will allow us to continue providing an unmatched level of service to our clients as we continue to grow.”

Brady earned his bachelor’s degree in political science. During his time at MSU Brady gained admission to the Michigan Government Semester Program, which enabled him to work in Lansing and attend seminars with some of the state’s most influential thought leaders and decision-makers.

Truscott Rossman represents local, statewide and nationwide clients from its offices in Lansing, Grand Rapids and Detroit. The firm provides the full spectrum of communications services, including issues management, crisis communication, digital media, ballot initiatives, community relations, litigation communication, media relations, government affairs and grassroots initiatives. Truscott Rossman also publishes the Michigan Legislators’ Guide to Lobbyists & Media, the go-to reference for Capitol policymakers across the state.
