LANSING, Mich. – Truscott Rossman is expanding its team and has hired recent Michigan State University graduate Sarah Paquet as an account executive and creative specialist.
“Adding a creative specialist to our team is an important step for the development and expansion of our firm,” said Kelly Rossman-McKinney, CEO and principal of Truscott Rossman. “With Sarah’s creative skill set, we bring our clients additional design services to communicate their message.”
Paquet has interned with Truscott Rossman since May 2013, working with clients such as the Michigan Food Innovation District and Michigan Citizens for Strong and Safe Communities, a coalition supporting passage of the Aug. 5 ballot proposal to create a more reliable funding source for local government services and eliminate the personal property tax for Michigan’s small businesses. She also worked as part of Truscott Rossman’s intern team to publicize the World Dwarf Games, which recently won the Pinnacle and People’s Choice awards at the Central Michigan Public Relations Society of America 2014 PACE Awards.
“We’re really excited to be putting Sarah’s diverse background in advertising, graphic design and public relations to work for our clients,” said John Truscott, president and principal of Truscott Rossman.
Paquet earned her bachelor’s degree in advertising, with specializations in design and public relations, and graduated this month with high honors. She won the Outstanding Senior and Public Relations Citizen awards from the MSU Department of Advertising and Public Relations. In addition, she was honored with the Sue Carter and Marti Heil Award, one of 16 MSU All-University Awards for Excellence.
