LANSING –Truscott Rossman, Michigan’s premier bipartisan communications firm, started a new designated-giving tradition this year by offering employees $250 each to donate to a nonprofit organization of their choice.
“It was important to us that each employee had the chance to choose which charities to support financially,” said Truscott Rossman CEO and Principal Kelly Rossman-McKinney. “Each member of our team has at least one organization they feel a personal connection to and we’re glad to help contribute to those causes.”
Organizations that received employee-designated contributions from Truscott Rossman include:
• Capital Area Humane Society
• Ele’s Place
• Hannah’s House
• Lansing Eastern Touchdown Club
• Lansing Eastern Volleyball Program
• Launched – A Celebration of Lansing Area Entrepreneurship
• Michigan Disability Rights Coalition
• Project Main Street
• Riverwalk Theatre
• Robert Busby Jazz Scholarship Fund – MSU College of Music
• Society of St. Vincent dePaul
• State News Alumni Association at MSU
• The Conductive Learning Center
“As an organization and as individuals, we feel strongly about giving back to our communities and to the organizations that are constantly working to make them better,” said John Truscott, president and principal of Truscott Rossman. “We’re happy to help support these nonprofits and the thousands of people touched by their services every day.”
